Doula Support for IVF & Infertility Pregnancies

Compassionate birth and postpartum support in Spokane and North Idaho for families whose road to this baby was long

You waited so long for this.

If you conceived through IVF, fertility treatments, or after years of trying, you know this pregnancy carries a lot. There's joy, and there can also be worry, disbelief, and a deep need for everything to go right. Many families find it hard to fully relax, even when everything looks healthy.

You deserve support from someone who truly gets it.

I understand, because I've been there too.

My husband and I have been on our own infertility journey for more than five years. I know the waiting, the appointments, the hope, and the heartbreak. I know how different pregnancy can feel when you've fought so hard to get here.

As your doula, I'll never rush your feelings or tell you to "just relax." I'll meet you where you are, with compassion and without judgment.

How I support you

During pregnancy

  • A safe space to talk through fears and hopes, including the ones that are hard to say out loud
  • Help preparing for birth when your pregnancy may include extra monitoring, a planned induction, or a cesarean
  • Birth planning that honors how much this moment means to you
  • Text and phone support whenever worry creeps in

During labor and birth

  • Calm, continuous support and reassurance
  • Help understanding your options so you can make informed choices with your care team
  • Support for your partner, who has been on this journey too

After your baby arrives

  • Gentle postpartum support as you adjust to finally holding the baby you dreamed of
  • Help with feeding, rest, and newborn care
  • Space to process the big emotions that can come after infertility, including the ones people don't expect

Common questions

Do you only work with IVF families?
Not at all. I support all families. But families who conceived through fertility treatment often tell me it means a lot to work with someone who understands their journey.
Is a doula helpful if my pregnancy is considered higher risk?
Yes. A doula doesn't replace your medical care, but I can help you feel informed, prepared, and supported alongside your doctor or midwife, whatever your birth looks like.
Can you support a planned cesarean?
Absolutely. I can help you prepare, support you and your partner on the day as your hospital allows, and help you recover afterward.

Let's talk about your journey. I'd love to hear your story and how I can support you. Consultations are always free.
